• Particularly suitable for joining steels that are difficult to weld, when high demands are placed on the weld. Highly crack-resistant with mixed connections such as black and white welds, manganese steel with unalloyed and alloyed steel, cold and hot working steel, buffer layers under hard alloys and tough build-up welds. The main areas of application include repair and maintenance of machines and drive parts, and tool repair. • Welding properties and special properties of the weld metal: Easy to weld, smooth and stable arc, smooth and finely scaled weld appearance, excellent slag removal, partly self-lifting. The austenitic-ferritic weld metal boasts maximum strength and high crack resistance. Cold and heat setting, stainless. • Welding instructions: Clean the welding area, preheat thick-walled ferritic parts to approx. 150 - 250°C. Weld the rod electrode with a short to medium length arc with stringer beads or slight oscillation. Electrode guide as steep as possible. Rod electrode re-drying 2 h at 120 - 200°C. • Standard: Material no.: ~ 1.4337 DIN 8555: ~ E 9 UM 250 KR EN 1600: ~ E 29 9R32 EN 14700: E Z Fe11 • Approval: DB (no. 82.138.01)
