| Technical data | GRANIT has a new version of the standard flat washers, the GRANIT Inphinium flat washer. A special steel is used for these flat washers, which achieves a high hardness of 55 (tolerance -2) HRc throughout with good toughness. Due to higher hardness, the GRANIT Inphinium discs achieve a longer service life of 25% compared to the standard disc, depending on soil type and moisture. The standard discs made of drill steel have a consistent hardness of 50 (tolerance -2) HRc. At the Inphinium steel hardness of 55 HRc, the drill steel would lose its toughness and become brittle. Brittle wear parts / steels can break under heavy load, such as contact with stones. |

| Version | GRANIT has a new version of the standard concave disc: the GRANIT Inphinium concave disc. These discs are made of a special steel that ensures a consistently high hardness of 55 (tolerance -2) HRc, together with a high level of toughness. Thanks to their increased hardness, the GRANIT Inphinium concave discs have a 25% longer service life than the standard concave discs (depending on soil type and moisture levels). The standard discs made of drilling steel have a consistent hardness of 50 (tolerance -2) HRc. At the same hardness as the Inphinium steel (55 HRc), the drilling steel would lose its toughness and become brittle. Brittle wearing parts/steels may break when subjected to heavy loading such as contact with stones. |
