FPA tested according to EN ISO 20345, class II, SB and EN ISO 17249, protection class 1. The Meindl Airstream with sporty design is an innovative safety shoe for chainsaw users with cut protection and steel toe cap. The shoe design takes into account the demands of the KWF ‘Safety shoes for forestry’ workshop. Moreover, a number of tried and tested trekking features have been incorporated:
• Orthopaedic ankle height of 17.5 cm. However, the front is high enough to provide cut protection thanks to the tongue length of 23 cm.
• 2-component sole: 1215 PU Iceland sole with non-slip profile and sharp edges, V-shaped profile (clamping effect) to prevent sliding to the side. Resilient PU midsole (shock absorber), Vibram outsole. Supination and pronation support.
• Innovative DIGAFix lacing system: lacing is longer and wider. This means that the foot sits better in the heel region.
• MFSystem: Gore-Tex® lining with MFSystem - a specially developed foam padding.
• AirRevolution system (AIRStream): excellent breathability, approx. 33% higher than other Gore-Tex® footwear. When walking the built-in pumping system ensures that additional moisture is removed.
