Front panels made of moulded special plastic CR39.
CR39 prevents the sticking of metal splashes and therefore remains transparent much longer than a conventional mineral glass or PC (polycarbonate) lens.
The material is temperature resistant up to approx. 140°C.
CR 39 is a thermosetting plastic, i.e. the material does not melt but decomposes at temperatures of from approx. 300°C.
