The Soil-Clik system enables easy soil moisture measurement. The tried and tested Soil-Clik sensor technology is used to measure the soil moisture level within the root zone.
To avoid unnecessary water loss, the irrigation system is switched off when a pre-defined moisture level is reached. The Soil-Clik system consists of two components: a soil moisture sensor that is installed in the ground and an electronic module that acts as a connection between the control unit and the sensor.
The sensor is installed in the root zone of the plants that are to be watered. The distance between the sensor and the programming module can be up to 300 m. The necessary adjustments can be made using the keypad on the module. The moisture measurement is activated immediately.
The module is suitable for connection to all Hunter AC control units, as well as AC control units from other manufacturers. The Soil-Clik system can be programmed to shut off the irrigation system when the required soil moisture level is reached. Hunter provides a 5 year warranty on Soil-Clik.
Soil-Clik itself is an active water-saving component, but in combination with SolarSync it forms part of a sustainable, environmentally friendly water-saving system.
