Use the Flint splitting blade to produce perfect tinder and shavings for heating up your stove. Mount the splitting blade on a solid wall. Place the log on one of the lower teeth (depending on the length), and position the blade on the top of the log. Hold the side of the log firmly with one hand and shave off a piece of kindling - minimal pressure required. Fibrous woods such as spruce, fir, birch and ash are the most suitable.
