The sealing material is mainly used for sealing against hot and cold oil, grease, fuel and coolant with corrosion protection and antifreeze additives.
Typical applications include control housings, transmissions, valve covers, oil sumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, chemical equipment, pumps and compressors. Max. 120°C. EWP 207 is a sealing material based on NBR-bonded synthetic organic fibres. EWP 207 has good oil and fuel resistance. EWP 207 is mainly used for sealing against hot and cold oil, grease, fuel and coolant with corrosion protection and antifreeze additives. Typical applications include oil sumps, valve covers, transmissions and housing covers. Max. 200°C. FW 522 is based on NBR-bonded aramid fibres with a metal insert made of perforated sheet steel.
The sealing material combines very good oil and fuel resistance with good pressure resistance. FW 522 is used for components subjected to high temperatures, e.g. exhaust pipes and exhaust manifolds. Max. 250°C
